About 3-Gun Fun Camp

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to attend a 3 gun fun camp. It was an amazing weekend filled with awesome instructors, the best ladies and sooo much information! To say my experience with shotgun was limited is the understatement of the year and I have never had this much fun learning something!! I guess you can teach old dogs new tricks 💗

3-Gun Fun Camp, the name says it all! We had 3 full days of fun and learning. Harriett Grant Williams and Cindy Coker do an awesome job and they bring great instructors.  Can't wait for next year!

Wow-Just now sitting down to reflect and savor the memories made last week !!

I had the pleasure to travel to Eastanollee, Georgia for a 3-Gun Fun Camp with fellow shooting sisters, as well as pro lady 3 Gunners. These awesome ladies shadowed us throughout the week to provide constructive feedback as well as encouragement. Tennille Gibson Chidester, Katelynn Wheeler Competitive Shooter, Sydney L. Rockwell, Cindy Coker, and Janna Brown .. You Inspire Me - You make shooting fun!

A theme was born on our return home… FIND YOUR TRIBE AND RISE! 

This is especially true for the ladies that arrived and put themselves out there to be vulnerable and willing to be new at something, and especially “the beginner”.

All this to say, I had an incredible experience and a wonderful time. Harriett Grant Williams, thanks for the opportunity to shoot with awesome ladies.

Two People Are better Off Than one, For They Can Help Each Other Succeed.

Thank you Harriett Grant Williams and Lynn Keel for putting on an excellent 3-Gun Fun Camp at Georgia Mountain Shooting Association. The natural terrain provided a great workout!  

We spent two days attending four workshops where some fantastic instructors provided great information and personalized feedback. I participated in the advanced group this year and our instructors, Cindy Coker, Tennille Gibson Chidester, Janna Brown, Sydney L. Rockwell, and Katelynn Wheeler, gave us helpful tips and focused on the techniques to perform more efficiently. The technical perspectives and ways they pushed us to the point of failure really emphasized what we were capable of and how to really push ourselves to the next level. I loved it!!

I’m already looking forward to meeting up with my shooting sisters at the next camp!

It’s match day! To say it’s been an awesome few days is an understatement…thank you 3-gun fun camp for the opportunity to learn, be encouraged and supported by an amazing group of like-minded ladies and instructors! Now it’s time to go out and be “ninjas!” 

A  fun and educational training experience for 3 gunners. I highly  recommend and plan to return next year! Instructions were top notch!  Match directors were well organized. 

 ...So I was very apprehensive about the atmosphere thinking it would be competitive and my inexperience would hold things up. From the first second I walked into the building I felt like family. When my rifle was not zeroed properly, at first I felt bad I had to have so much help. But everyone reassured me, and I felt my walls come down. Then as I started meeting everyone, I felt included. People I never meet asked how my day went, what did I learn, how was it going. That was....kind. The feeling is still with me and pushing me forward. To create an atmosphere like this weekend, is not easy to achieve. So kudos and thank you. 

Did you like working with different instructors for each subject?  Absolutely, they all showed their passion for what they were giving instruction on and being exposed to their different teaching styles made it more realistic to what we will experience in matches we compete in. I took away something from every one of them and I left feeling that I could reach out anytime for any questions I may have. Phenomenal group of ladies.  

Excellent ratio!  Instructors were so helpful with every discipline, loved hearing different perspectives.  I took notes, great suggestions from each instructor.

Keep providing that perfect weather!  Everything was great.  Days were long, but I was very satisfied with the value received for the cost!  Slept soundly the night I got home!  Also, keep all the sponsors - I was totally shocked to win a gun!
